AppGroups
You were not meant to do life alone. AppGroups are a welcoming place to build meaningful relationships, grow in your faith, and discover opportunities to serve both inside the church and throughout the community. AppGroups meet at various times throughout the week, making it easy to find one that fits your schedule.
D-Groups
Deeper Groups (Or D-Groups) are designed to help people intentionally grow spiritually, develop accountability, and make disciples. D-Groups are usually gender-specific groups of 2-3 people who meet anytime or anywhere regularly for 9-12 months. D-Groups spend time in prayer, studying the Bible, and encouraging each other to grow in spiritual maturity, serve in missional ministry and reproduce as disciple makers.

Women in the Word
Meets every other Wednesday at 9:00am in the Multi-Purpose Room at Appalachian Church. This group is studing What’s Heaven Like?
Salty Sisters
This women's group meets on Tuesday evenings at Appalachian Church in Multi-Purpose Room #1 at 6:00pm. Studying “Faith and Fire” about Elijah by Priscilla Shirer. This group will take a one week break on Oct 27, and then start a new study on Nov 3. The next study is “When You Pray- a study exploring different types of prayers modeled by scriptures” helping to deepen our prayer life and relationship with God.
Ironmen
Meets on Thursday mornings at 6:00am at the Pretty Possum restaurant. This group is for men only.
Thursday AppGroup
This group is be led by Pastor Steve Allen and meets at 1:00pm on Thursdays at Appalachian Church. They are working through a study on the book of Philippians.
Goodson Home Bible Study
This group of adults and families meets at the Goodson’s home every other Saturday at 4:30pm.
Men's Bible Study
This men’s group meets on Tuesday mornings. Currently this group is at max capacity.
Vertical
A young adult bible study group that meets every other Thursday at 6:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room #2. They are studying Jesus in our Generation by Ben Stuart.
Warhorses
This is a men’s Bible study that meets on Tuesday mornings at 7:00am at the Office of Cedar Wealth (Next to Town Tavern in downtown West Jefferson).
