The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
Warfare Prayer
based on 2 Corinthians 10:4-5)
“Father, Your Word says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Therefore I declare that no weapon formed against me prospers this day or any day to come in Jesus’ name. Your Word says that trouble will not arise a second time (Nahum 1:9). Therefore I declare that Satan cannot make trouble for me again, in this manner, as he did in the past in Jesus’ name.
I declare all of these prayers accomplished and brought to pass by trusting you through faith and expectation in the name of Jesus. Lord Jesus, I confess to You all of my sins this day, yesterday and every day past. I repent and renounce them, those known and unknown, those of omission and commission, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do. I lay down at Your feet all of the sins of the flesh, the tongue, and of the heart, and all unholy thoughts and actions. Thank You, Lord, for shedding Your precious blood for me.
This day and each and every day I ask for protection over my spouse; each of my children; our immediate family members, relatives, friends, and acquaintances; and lastly for myself. I also ask today for protection during all of our travels; for our provision, finances, possessions, health, safety, and welfare. I put all of these things under the covering of Your precious blood and declare that Satan cannot touch them, on this day or any day to come.
I stand on Your Word. The enemy is driven out from before me, above me, around me, and below me; from my home, workplace, church and its ministries, children, and loved ones; from my works and labors, land, and my presence. I declare that he is not able to stand against me, and his works are taken captive and destroyed. No weapon formed against me will prosper, for the Spirit of the Lord shall raise a standard against them.
I declare all of these things accomplished by Your Word. Jesus, my Lord, I give You thanksgiving, praise, glory, honor and worship for Your righteousness and holiness given to me by Your Word on my behalf.”

Praying Scriptures
This is where the description goes.
3 R's to Freedom From Words
Words
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit”. Prov. 18.21
Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Words hold immense power: the universe was spoken into existence; Jesus performed miracles and cast out demons through his words; entire empires have been built or destroyed by the words of their leaders; words can alter the course of a person's life. For instance, words can bring life when we share the gospel of Christ and encourage our fellow believers.
In Luke 6:45, Jesus says, "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." God provides us with profound wisdom for living an extraordinary life. Ultimately, God's aim isn't merely to refine our speech but to transform our hearts.
The Bible offers extensive guidance on the words we speak.
Ephesians 4:29 advises, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers”.
Proverbs 10:19 states, “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise”.
Proverbs 15:4 notes, “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit”.
Colossians 4:6 encourages, “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
God's desire is for us to be discerning with our words. However, scripture also reminds us that our speech reflects the condition of our hearts (Matthew 15:10–20). Negative speech indicates a heart in need of healing, as Jesus describes.
Consider these questions:
How do you speak in your daily interactions with your spouse, children, friends, and colleagues?
How do you communicate during disagreements?
What kind of language do you use in everyday conversations?
Consequences for not guarding our words
Lack of spiritual passion
Frustration
Lack of peace
Questioning of our calling in God
Drawn to old bondages
Defeated
How can we become more thoughtful with our words?
Declare and Repeat
Repent
Heavenly Father, I seek Your forgiveness for my harmful words. I confess that my speech has hindered others and given the enemy a foothold, blocking Your blessings. I recognize that my past and self-perception have shaped my speech. Please cleanse my heart and renew my words to reflect Your love and grace. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
Rebuke
Heavenly Father, Today, I declare that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, has forgiven me for every sinful word I have spoken. I now stand in the authority given to me over every idle word and demonic spirit that has used my words to gain influence. I rebuke every demonic spirit oppressing me because of my words and break the power of every sinful word I have ever spoken. I proclaim freedom to every person, place, or thing that my words have cursed and brought into bondage. I take back those words and wash them away with the Blood of Jesus. I declare freedom to those held captive by my words. Be free in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Restore
Holy Spirit, you used the Word of God to frame the universe. Today, I ask You to heal my heart so it may overflow with the Living Word, blessing myself and those around me. Help me to set my mind on the things above, filling my heart with a constant sound of praise. Speak through me, Holy Spirit. I surrender my heart and my mouth to You today. Use me to establish Your Kingdom and be a blessing to others, first through my words and then through the abundance of Your spiritual provision. Teach me to align my speech with Your will, preparing the way for the soon-coming King. I love You, sweet Spirit of God. In Jesus' name, amen.

How can we become more thoughtful with our words?
- Pray for guidance in your speech and seek opportunities to encourage others.
- Practice pausing before you speak. When responding to someone, take a moment to count to three and consider whether your response will honor God or harm the listener. Instead of rushing to criticize or use harsh language, strive to speak life-giving words.
- Apologize to those you've hurt with your words.

3 R's to Freedom From Depression
“Answer me quickly, O Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I’ll lift up my soul.” Psalms 143.7-8
Depression affects millions of people, regardless of their faith. It can feel isolating and overwhelming, but turning to God's word can provide immense comfort and strength. Bible verses for depression bring hope and reassurance, reminding you that you are never alone. God's presence is always with you, offering comfort and guidance.
What is Depression?
Depression is a prolonged feeling of sadness, mourning, discouragement, despair, and an inability to overcome life’s difficult situations. It affects both the mind and spirit.
What Causes Depression?
Depression can be caused by various factors, including:
Traumatic circumstances beyond our control, such as the death of a family member, terminal illness, divorce, losing a job, and abuse.
Spiritual oppression due to sin.
Chemical imbalances in the brain.
Common symptoms associated with depression include:
- Isolation
- Neglect of physical appearance
- Suicidal tendencies
- Irritability
- Anxiety and worry
- Constant crying
- Inability to make decisions
- Negativity
- Insomnia
- Changes in appetite
- Low self-esteem
If you or a loved one suffers from depression, know that it does not mean you have weak faith or that God is punishing you.
Depression and the Mind
The way we think about ourselves influences our actions and behavior. Proverbs 23:7 tells us that our thoughts lead to actions, and these thoughts can affect our emotions positively or negatively.
To combat negative thoughts, substitute them with positive ones. Romans 12:2 encourages us to renew our minds.
Whenever a negative thought begins to form, counteract it with the Word of God and what God says about you.
Where to Start
1. Trust: Trust in God completely, believing He is working all things together for good. Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
2. Daily pray, give thanks, and worship: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 urges us to “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
3. Connect with Others: Do not remain isolated. Seek help immediately. Having support and encouragement is important. Reach out to a loved one, a friend, your pastor.
Declare and Repeat
Repent
Heavenly Father, I repent for entertaining bad thoughts in my life, I ask you to forgive me in the name of Jesus. Thank you for being my refuge in good and bad times. In your infinite mercy, forgive me for allowing my days to be filled with pain and depression. Help me to realize that through you there is joy and the promise of lasting peace. Please help me not to focus on the negative but to focus on your blessings and your goodness. Please forgive me, cleanse me with Your precious blood, and draw me closer to You than ever before. Amen.
Rebuke
I renounce depression that up to now has influenced my mind and my life in the name of Jesus. Depression, I command you to leave me now! You no longer have any authority over me. Today, I choose joy, peace, and strength in the Holy Spirit of God who sets me free. I break all ties, agreements, and associations with sadness, depression, hopelessness, and heaviness. I am free, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Restore
Holy Spirit, you are my comforter, thank you for healing my heart, renewing my mind, and breaking every chain of oppression from depression. Teach me to walk in freedom. Thank you for joy which is my strength and will always come in the morning. Teach me your ways, surround me with your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

3 R's to Freedom From Anger
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” James 1.19-20
Anger is a common issue that affects everyone, regardless of age, culture, or background. Unresolved anger can destroy marriages, break down families, and weaken communities.
What is Anger?
Anger is an emotional response to frustration or hostility. According to Webster, it's "a hostile feeling of displeasure resulting from injury, mistreatment, or opposition." Anger is triggered by unmet needs or expectations, which leads to emotional action.
Causes of Anger:
Past Hurts and Guilt: Accumulated pain and guilt from past experiences can trigger anger when new situations remind us of those hurts.
Rejection: Especially in childhood, rejection can cause deep bitterness.
Self-Worth: Favoritism damages self-worth and breeds resentment.
False Accusations: These damage reputations and stir up anger.
Frustration: When expectations are unmet, anger can arise.
Offenses: Taking up others' offenses can lead to deep-seated bitterness.
Resolving past experiences through forgiveness is crucial to managing anger effectively.
What are some of the physical reactions to anger (signs to alert us):
Hard breathing/rapid heartbeat
Paleness or flushing of face, neck, and hands
Dry mouth
Muscle tension
Clenched fists
Shouting/clenching of teeth
Stomach upset
Anxiety
Pacing back and forth
Tension headaches, Migraines, Colitis, Ulcers, hypertension, heart problems, stomach disorder, binge eating.
Consequences of Uncontrolled Anger
Foolish Actions: Anger leads to foolish behavior, often followed by regret. Proverbs 14:17 warns that a quick-tempered person acts foolishly.
Paying the Price: Proverbs 19:19 states that quick anger comes with consequences, and protecting someone from them only worsens the behavior.
Shame and Guilt: Anger often results in feelings of shame, guilt, and conflict.
Is Getting Angry a Sin?
Anger itself is not a sin, but letting it control you is. Ephesians 4:26 advises not to let anger lead to sin or become a pattern of behavior that fosters bitterness and hatred.
Anger and Words: James 1:19-21 encourages being slow to anger, as human anger does not produce righteousness.
Other Effects of Anger
Lack of Understanding: Proverbs 14:29 notes that a quick-tempered person lacks wisdom and makes poor decisions.
Leads to Sin: Proverbs 29:22 warns that anger causes strife and sin.
Contagious: Proverbs 22:24-25 advises avoiding quick-tempered people, as their anger can spread to others.
Hinders Prayer: 1 Timothy 2:8 states that anger hinders effective prayer.
How to Overcome Anger
Control Your Character: Exercise self-control and turn away from anger (Psalms 37:8).
Decide Not to React: Make a conscious decision to avoid letting anger control you.
Surrender to God: Let go of the need to defend yourself and allow God to handle justice (Romans 12:19-21).
Declare and Repeat
Repent
Heavenly Father, I come before You in the Name of Jesus Christ. I admit that I've allowed anger to take root in my heart, leading to rage. I acknowledge that I've strayed from the path of love, and I repent for letting offense and anger consume me. Please forgive me, and I ask for the cleansing power of Jesus' Blood over my life today. I commit to following You and Your ways from this moment forward. Wash me in the precious Blood of Jesus, Lord, and renew a clean heart and right spirit within me.
Rebuke
In the name of Jesus, I break my agreement with anger. I release all anger into Your hands, Lord Jesus, and I renounce any connection to it. 3 R's to Freedom From Divination
3 R’s to Freedom – Divination, A Gateway to the Occult
“Let no one be found among you…., who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord” Deut. 18.10-12
Since ancient times, people have practiced divination to predict the future, earn money, exert control, or manipulate others. This tradition has persisted over the years, exploiting those who seek divine insights, often unaware that it can lead to involvement with the occult.
What is Divination?
Divination is the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge, usually through supernatural powers.
Practices Relating to Divination
Horoscopes
Psychics
Palm Readers
Tarot Cards
Quija Boards
Crystal gazing
New Age
Mind Control: Hypnosis, Telepathy
Levitation
Yoga
Acupuncture
Witchcraft
Why is Divination Dangerous?
Divination is dangerous because it serves as a gateway to the occult, opening the door for demonic oppression for you and your loved ones. The Bible explicitly condemns this practice. In Deuteronomy 18:10, God commands, “There shall not be found among you... anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens.” Similarly, 1 Samuel 15:23 equates rebellion with the “sin of divination.”
Divination is also cited as one of the reasons for Israel’s exile. Jeremiah 14:14 warns about false prophets, stating, “They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.” Thus, in contrast to God's truth, divination is portrayed as false, deceitful, and worthless.
Consequences of Divination
Fear
Torment
Nightmares
Insecurity
Self-Harm: cutting or scratching
Confusion
Illnesses
Poverty
Emotionally unstable
Suicide attempts

Repent
Lord Jesus, I declare today that You are my ultimate authority. Please forgive me for exposing my soul to divination and demonic influences. I trust in Your faithfulness to forgive and in the power of Your precious blood. I recommit my life to You today. I ask You to break all curses that I have brought upon myself and those I love. Forgive me for aligning with darkness and its destructive plans. Today, I choose to believe in Your promises for my life, embracing the hope and future You offer in Your kingdom. Amen.
Rebuke
In the name of Jesus, I speak to the spirit of divination and command it to leave me now! I have repented for all agreement with darkness and God has heard me, rescued me, and washed me from all evidence of sin. I break all covenants and agreements with all spirits of darkness. I have the authority of Christ Jesus to cast you down and declare you are defeated, in the mighty name of Jesus!
Restore
Holy Spirit, you are the Spirit of my Lord Jesus Christ. You are the power at work in my life and I welcome you to have your way and work your will through me. I ask your forgiveness for working with the spirit of divination and I ask you to come work in me supernaturally. I submit to you, to heal my mind and heart from the effects of divination. Give me the mind of Christ and the heart of my Heavenly Father. Thank you for guiding me into all righteousness. In Jesus name, Amen.

Forgive me for aligning with darkness and its destructive plans. Today, I choose to believe in Your promises for my life, embracing the hope and future You offer in Your kingdom. Amen.
