Set Our Minds on JESUS!

Colossians 3:1–4

What happens when Jesus doesn't just change your eternity, but completely changes your perspective?

In Colossians 3, the Apostle Paul shifts from explaining who Jesus is and what He has accomplished to showing believers how that truth should transform the way we live every day. Because we have been raised to new life with Christ, we are called to stop living with an earthly perspective and begin living with our hearts and minds fixed on eternity.

Seek the things above, make Christ your greatest pursuit.

Set your mind on the things above, allow God's truth to shape your thoughts and priorities.

Remember your old life is dead, your identity is no longer found in your past but is hidden securely in Christ.

Live because Christ is your life, our greatest hope is not found in this world, but in the promise that one day we will appear with Him in glory.

Our hearts will naturally follow what we treasure, and our minds will shape the direction of our lives. This message is a call to lift our eyes above the distractions, worries, and temporary pursuits of this world and fix them on Jesus—the One who is our life, our hope, and our coming King.

Because we have been raised with Christ, we must live with an eternal perspective rather than an earthly one.
