ONLY JESUS: When God Opens the Door

Colossians 4:2–6

God opens doors for the Gospel, but are we ready to walk through them? In Colossians 4:2–6, Paul shows us what it looks like to live every day on mission for Jesus: pray faithfully, walk wisely, and speak graciously.

We don't have to manufacture Gospel opportunities—God opens the doors. Our responsibility is to stay prayerful, live in a way that represents Christ well, and be ready to point people to Jesus when the opportunity comes.

Pray for the door. Walk wisely through the door. Speak with grace when the door opens.

We can't open someone's heart. We can't save anybody. Only Jesus can.
